That’s a wrap on our fifth We Believe in Portland cleanup event! With your support, nearly 1,200 dedicated volunteers and over 100 businesses united in making our city shine by cleaning over 200 blocks and picking up over 1,000 pounds of trash on September 19, 2025. A heartfelt thank you from the entire We Believe in Portland planning team for your time, energy, and passion.
Because of your feedback, our cleanup efforts expanded across the iconic Willamette River to Portland’s Central Eastside for the first time ever. You told us you want to do more and go where the need is greatest. Expanding east allowed us to reach areas that often receive less routine maintenance, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to widen our collective impact.
